The library is an important facility in the world of education that provides information resources to support the learning process. In the digital era, the application of information technology in libraries has helped improve the efficiency of management and accessibility of services. One innovative solution to improve the user experience in the library is through the development of an optimally designed UI/UX system. This study focuses on the UI/UX design of the book lending system at SMPN 156 Jakarta. Currently, the lending system in this school library is still running manually, which often causes obstacles such as slow administration processes, data recording errors, and lack of easy access for students. To overcome these problems, this study proposes the development of a technology-based system with a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. The UCD method is used to ensure that user needs and comfort are the main priorities in the development process. This promised system can improve the efficiency of library services and provide a better user experience for students and librarians. The system evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) produced a score of 70.31, which indicates that this system meets the three main pillars of SUS, namely learnability, usability, and user satisfaction. This score also indicates that the system is in the "Good" category with a grade B.
