A monitoring system and control of server space that can be monitored regularly is necessary because of the role of a server within a company. So if at any time there is a deviation of temperature outside the limits of tolerance and the possibility of the arrival of unauthorized persons, so that no unwanted things happen on the server. Web-based server monitoring and control system using DHT22 temperature sensor and PIR (Passive Infra Red) motion sensor can be utilized to monitor temperature and movement within the server room. This system consists of hardware and software. The hardware consists of a DHT22 temperature sensor, PIR(Passive Infra Red) motion sensor, LED, Buzzer and Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller. Web-based server monitoring and control system is also associated with a webcam to be able to take pictures of the server room conditions in real. The software used in Arduino microcontroller is C programming language and for conventer interface using visual basic 2008 as visual control and display data periodically using PHP programming language and MySQL database. The server's monitoring and control system can monitor server room temperatures and transmit data of room temperature changes displayed through web applications with email notifications.
