Listening is one of four English skills that
students must master it. Listening in second language is not simple as mother
tongue. The failure of student in finding of the best solution for that cases
and lack of knowledge to foreign language will make they have grade less. A
teaching-learning process depends on meeting session in the class only. It is
less to give maximum result. The obstacles are not only technically but also
lies in the materials provided. The results got by students were limited only
on the materials who gave by the teacher that is not always appropriate based
on their mastering, needs, desirable. They acted some times as passive receiver
and the whole control is in teacher’s role. The formal situation in the class
often makes them feel forced and lack of concentration. This research is done
by descriptive method and library research based on the researcher’s oberserve
in learning process of listening section.
